Meeta's Paper presentation at National Conference (Jan 2013)
My experience: This year Fergusson College (Psychology department) had organized a three day
National Seminar from 31st Jan to 2nd Feb 2013 on ‘Developing Human Potential: Issues, Perspectives and Challenges’.
This seminar aimed to bringing together experts and scholars from extremely diverse fields, such as education, social work,
industry, politics, psychotherapy, health-care and even spirituality. Though this looked like a rather scattered list of professions,
the common thread among all these professions is that they were linked in one way or another with the development of human potential.
The organizing Committee therefore looked forward to theoretical and empirical papers that highlighted new ways of looking at the area of
human potential development.
I made a paper presentation on ‘Do Employee Development programs really affect employee growth and business success?’

The audience was a mix of academicians, consultants and students coming from all parts of India. It was sheer pleasure to meet
experts in the field of Psychology (Dr. C.G.Deshpande,Dr.Usha Ram, Dr. Shejwal) and
also to present in front of my teacher: Dr.Shobhana Abhyankar- who has also played a major role in the organizing this seminar.
Heartfelt thanks to my boss, friend and guide in helping me to write this paper- Mrs. Chatura Damle, Director, Chatur Knowledge Networking.
