An Assessment Development Centre (ADC) is an evaluation process used to identify the future potential of employees. It involves observation of candidates carrying out a variety of assignments individually or in a group over a period of 2-3 days. It uses multiple simulation exercises to observe the candidate in multiple situations to measure multiple job related competencies. This observation is done by multiple trained assessors.
All the data collected by the trained assessors is pooled together to make an informed, objective and transparent promotion/development decision.
